Andreas Schmiedecker studied Slavistics, English and Theater, Film and Media Studies at the University of Vienna, as well as Cultural Studies at the University of Leuven (Belgium). Field research in Moscow and language assistance for the Goethe-Institut in Novosibirsk (Russia). Since 2015 in Berlin, first as a teacher and trainer, then in project management. Currently project manager for the n-ost project UNIT (Network for LGBT Journalists from Central Asia and Eastern Europe) and in general fundraising and program management.
