Krsto Lazarević lives in Brussels and Berlin and works as Assistant for the green MEP Erik Marquardt, where he focuses on migration, flight and development policies. Lazarević worked as a journalist in Berlin, Vienna, Belgrade and Sarajevo. One focus of his work has been the situation of refugees on the Balkan route.

He runs the German speaking podcast "News from the Ballaballa Balkans" (https://ballaballa-balkan.de) together with Danijel Majić (Hessischer Rundfunk). Lazarević studied political science, sociology and gender studies in Frankfurt am Main, Valencia and Berlin and also worked in the editorial department of Eurotopics.
